The New England Suzuki Institute at Saint Joseph's College, on the shores of beautiful Sebago Lake in Standish, is open to students of violin, viola, cello, piano and guitar and their parents who work with a Suzuki teacher and study the Suzuki repertoire. Students range in age from preschool through high school and are welcome with their families as dorm residents or as commuters. All ages are expected from the earliest pre-twinklers through the teen program. Daily offerings include the core curriculum, enrichment classes, recitals, parent offerings and recreation. In addition, two opportunities for Teacher Education with Martha Shackford will be offered: 'Every Child Can!© An Introduction to Suzuki Education' and the enrichment course, 'An Overview of
Violin Books 1-4'.

The 2008 Fiddle Sheet Music AND Recordings are now available.

The 2008 Student Scholarship form is also available.

  • Student Recitals - Each student will have the opportunity to solo. Further information is given under ‘recitals’
  • Final Concerts - All performing groups will be given an opportunity to perform on one of the final concerts offered on Friday afternoon. See ‘recitals’
