Rising Artists Program
The NESI Rising Artist Program is tailored for advanced Suzuki and traditional students who demonstrate strong reading skills and have ensemble experience.
The NESI Rising Artist Program Student Requirements:
Violin, Viola, and Cello: Suzuki students in book 6 or above
Piano and Guitar: Suzuki students in book 5 or above
Traditional students at the equivalent levels for all instruments
Strong reading skills and experience in playing in an ensemble
To ensure proper placement in an ensemble, please upload a video of your student performing a recently polished piece. All audition videos must be submitted by April 1st.
The NESI Rising Artist Program Includes:
Six hours of class, daily:
Master-class - 1 hour divided between 2 students
Chamber Music - 1 hour of coaching with NESI faculty, 1 hour of individual rehearsal time for a total of 2 hours daily
Instrument-Specific Advanced Ensemble for Guitarists and Pianists OR Rising Artists Orchestra for Violin, Viola and Cello - 1 hour
