Young Artists Program
The NESI Young Artist Program is designed to advance Suzuki students with strong music reading skills.
The NESI Young Artist Program Student Requirements:
Violin, Viola, and Cello: Suzuki students in books 3-5
Piano and Guitar: Suzuki students in books 4 (or equivalent)
Strong reading skills
To ensure proper placement in an ensemble, please upload a video of your student performing a recently polished piece. All audition videos must be submitted by April 1st.
The NESI Young Artist Program Includes:
Five classes, daily:
Masterclass: 3 students per hour lesson
Group class: students working at the same book level**
Students in Book 3 Violin, Viola, and Cello will participate in the Young Artists String Ensemble, which serves as an introductory chamber orchestra experience.
Book 3 piano and guitar students follow the Budding Artist curriculum
Violin, Viola and Cello students in Books 4 and 5 AND Book 4 Piano and Guitar students will take part in a Chamber Ensemble.
